Brian Christopher Robinson was under investigation after a tip that he may have downloaded child pornography was sent to the Ephrata police in August.

A warranted search was conducted at the 27-year-old's apartment in the 50 block of Michael Lane, the police explained. "Child pornography was found on an electronic device owned by Robinson," the police said. The download happened on August 25, according to court documents.

He was arrested and charged with the following: felony possession of child pornography, felony criminal use of a communication facility, and a misdemeanor for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence on Sept. 26, the police detailed and court records confirmed.

Robinson was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Clark Bearinger who set his bail at $45,000, according to the police. He posted a 10% surety bond and was released on Oct. 2, as stated in his court docket. His preliminary hearing is set before Bearinger at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 30.
